There are serious discussions between Rome and Islam, and it is a two-way street. The very notion that the true Biblical Christian faith could in some way be united with Islam is an impossible thought. Islam and the true Christian faith are totally incompatible, but that will not stop them.

 

Islam Is Under Pressure From Within

The pressures within Islam are growing so maybe it needs Rome. Perhaps that is why it is reaching out to Pope Francis.

 

An Islamic Initiative For Unity

This “peace strategy” was penned by Islamic scholars in a document called “A Common Word Between Us And You.”  It was authored by “138 leading Moslem scholars, clerics, and intellectuals from around the world.”

The idea for URI came to California Episcopal (US Anglican) Bishop William Swing. It must be good as it has representatives from the following groups, Roman Catholics, Protestant Churches, Orthodox Church, Sikhs, Buddhists, Moslems, Jews, Wiccans (witchcraft, occultism), Hindus, American Indian religions, Bahai, Zoroastrians. What could possibly go wrong?

Some Courageous Moslems Are Also Speaking Up

“Let us admit, without lying to ourselves, that we, the Muslims, are time bombs. When I say, ‘we, the Muslims,’ I do not mean every single Muslim, but Muslims of the religious sector are time bombs.” So said Imam Tareq Yousef Al-Masri speaking at the Brooklyn Oulel-Albab Mosque.

 

The Outspoken Moslems Are Irrelevant

This “Single Paged Paper”  examines the above proposition and concludes that the peaceful Moslems, and there are millions of them, are quite impotent and irrelevant due to the fear of the consequences of any action they may take.

 

Rome Reaching Out To The Wayward Protestants

Who would have ever guessed that one of the proclaimed “hero’s” of the protestant Church, indeed one who used to be called a Baptist, would be making public overtures to Pope Francis and calling him “Our Pope.”

 

Has The Roman Church Changed?

A high profile protestant was invited to the Vatican and when asked why he went he answered “When the Pope invites you, you go.” Here are some of his comments following that trip. He says

“We have far more in common than that what divides us … ‘We believe in the Trinity,  we believe in the Bible, we believe in the resurrection, we believe Salvation is through Jesus Christ,’ these are the big issues.” Does the Roman Church believe these things?

Believe it or not, Rome already sees the Moslems as a part of God’s salvation plan. Here is a part of what they say. “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day.…”

 

What  Happens Next?

The Bible clearly teachers that there will arise a world-wide conglomerate “Church” that is evil in its intent and practice. This unholy thing is given a rather strange name, “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.”

 

Slowly Coming Together

The increasing tensions in the world, many of them caused by Islam, are viewed with alarm creating fear in many people. When a new idea promising “peace” comes along, and is widely seen as a way of linking these opposing groups together and hopefully taming Islam. It is easy to understand that such an idea would be well received.

 

“Mystery, Babylon The Great”

This describes the otherwise unlikely coming together of many religious groups. This proposed coalition is abhorrent to God and it will be something new on the world scene. The Bible alone  boldly declares that Babylon is THE source of the false gods.

The worship of the Mother and Child began in ancient times and long predates the worship of Mary, mother of Jesus.

 

The Moon God

G. Caton Thompson who reveals in her book, “The Tombs and Moon Temple of Hureidha,” that she had uncovered a temple of the Moon-god in southern Arabia. Therein she found symbols of the crescent moon… According to the inscriptions, Sin was the name of the Moon-god, but his title was al-ilah, that is “the deity,” meaning that he was the chief or high god among the gods. “The term al-ilah was shortened to Allah in pre-Islamic times.”

 

A New Order Is Coming And Will be Embraced By All Peoples

The Bible declares that a new religious order is coming and, when that new thing appears, it will be pounced upon by all. This new religious order is being organised now, as this series is attempting to show. It will be seen as a peaceful force and embraced by many. Indeed it will be seen as the welcomed saviour, and the panacea or cure-all for many of the tensions that are even now plaguing our society.
